He sure does look like he is upset. I wonder if the frog got bit in 5he ordeal. But great series and storyline Yves.

It is quite obvious to me that he got many bruses (sting or bite or scratches) because he realy look upset.

Thanks Jane. This summer is giving me many of those action sequence and I love it. The cam is now set on burst 1/1600 sec. ready for action. I do less walking and more stand still (about 45 minutes on a good spot just looking around for someting to shoot.

Great close-up and action shot. You can tell he's bothered by the insect and trying to find a way to get rid of it. Your timing and focus ware both perfect and I love the reaction you captured here, Yves.

Thanks for the comments Heather. I forgot to say that the end of the story (4 shots) will be posted tomorrow morning. To respect the other members I avoid posting more than three photos in a row (4 being an exception). So check tomorrow for the end of the story.

Description
I had a great opportunity to photo shoot the amazing escape by a flying insect that look like a bumble bee or a big wasp. Of course I missed the catch. When I notice someting moved on lilly pads the frog was kind of yarning with the mouth open. I started shooting then it become obvious that some big insect was trying to get out of there. I kept shooting how the frog will manage the problem. According to me there has been an escape but I have no proof. Between the last an the previous photo I stop shooting to change the focal distance from 300mm to 800mm.
